ISRAEL SBT Training 2022- 2025
It is possible to join the NEW Professional PROGRAM in Israel or take an individual module as a professional boost in embodied Somatics.
SBT is a 500-HOUR, KINESTHETIC STUDY OF THE BASIC DEVELOPMENTAL PATTERNS AS THEY ARE EXPRESSED THROUGH THE CELLULAR TISSUES, BODY SYSTEMS, AND THEIR CORRESPONDING RELATIONAL INTERACTIONS.
STUDENTS WILL BE GUIDED THROUGH THEIR OWN EMBODIMENT OF ANATOMICAL STRUCTURES AND LEARN KINESTHETICALLY & THROUGH OBSERVATION AND MOVEMENT REPATTERNING, AS WELL AS THROUGH CREATIVE EXPRESSION IN DANCE, PERFORMANCE, WRITING, AND TEACHING.
Having fulfilled all the requirements of the program, you will receive a Somatic BODY certificate, which will allow you to become a member of the international association ISMETA International Association of the Somatic Movement.
The teaching staff of the program is headed by Christine Cole (USA), and invited teachers: Nitzan Lederman, Michal Yarkoni, Ayelet Yekutiel, Anna Titova & Artem Markov. The program is supported by assistants and students from previous streams of the program.
At this point, we are accepting applications for full training on the program & during the first year, you can join individual modules of the program without being included in the full training. Let us know in advance about your desire, the number of places is limited. The curriculum has specific requirements for students - self-study in anatomy, homework, and partner sessions before or after each module.
The Somatic BODY program includes 500 hours of training:
8 modules of 4.5 days
4 modules of 9 days
The program takes place in the North of Israel.

Christine Cole - the director of SBT is a highly trained BMC teacher, trained and co-taught with Bonnie Bainbridge-Cohen. This training is now running for 10 years, preparing students to build sustainable businesses in SomaticBODY or as support for their teaching or Therapeutic practices.
