THE BASIC NEUROCELLULAR PATTERNS

In The Practice Of Yoga

The Basic Neurocellular Patterns establish a foundation on which we build our movement, physical, perceptual, emotional and cognitive process. They guide our interaction with gravity and space, our sense of self, our relationship with others and the environment.

Each movement pattern is a reference point to experientially explore and gain insights into your practice. They provide a valuable insight into gaps in integration and alignment, and new perspectives on sequencing and asana choice. Once fully embodied they allow us to enter with more ease into the fullness of our being, and to live our lives with greater confidence, flexibility and presence.

The Later Prevertebrate and Spinal Vertebrate Patterns: Central Axis, Moving Into Form and the Development of Self

This module explores the bridge between the Later Prevertebrate and Spinal Vertebrate Patterns. The vertical axis is composed of three tubular structures: gut tube, notochord, and neural tube. These patterns manifest as softness, flexibility, and strength in our bodies, flowing easily yet turgidly strong. They provide us with a sense of inner calm and effortlessness, and create the foundation for the later development of our arms and le

The Three Phases

that get dancers, coaches, artists & therapists to an inspired, embodied practice

Em-BODY Immersion

This is where you get to lay it all down, fully focus on your own embodiment with all of the support of the team and Christine Cole’s teaching within the framework of Somatic BODY. Put Covid, put your own insecurities behind you and just immerse yourself, build or rebuild your inner intelligence, wild intuition and keen focus on learning. We will MOVE, meditate and study. This is the beginning of creating a cohort of committed somatic explorers.

LEarn SomaticBODY tools

Here you get to look above the fray and learn SBT client assessment, teaching structures to organize the rhythm, weaving and learning process for students in your courses, and ways to set up improvisational research for artists of all kinds to ignite your art. In this phase you will also have some opportunities for breakdown, transformation, and growth, which Christine will use to model the process and you to receive support and guidance in your unfolding. The kettle is thick with experiences that now question the old, and require change. Observing and supporting you will learn.

Your Research, Somatic Business Challenges and YOUR PLAN

Now that you are getting clearer and inspired , you can invest in research that propels your vision, your projects, your practice.

Q7. Will there be homework?

Yes! It is best is if you know your learning style: Some may want to learn lots of the anatomy or manuals ahead of classes, and can absorb this information, others willglance at the material, the list of anatomical names, watch some videos, draw or dance BEFORE and really research later, when thier body is awakenened with curiostymeeting

Q8. Where do I go with my questions?

Read through all the online info, go through the application (which will also clarify, and we will call you to discuss if this is right for your path. Otherwise email info@somaticbody.com
