2021 Online: The Embodiment of Relationship I

Embodied Philosophy

YIELD- PUSH-REACH-PULL

Five  1.5 h classes TBD

These classes illuminate and introduce the underlying patterns of relating, which you can use for your practice or your life. These are the hidden efforts underneath all the Developmental Patterns developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen in Body-Mind Centering.

The Yield, Push, Reach, and Pull cycles offer huge potential for you to find new ways of interaction without strain, stress, or doubt. These are the KEYSTONES of embodied action! Join us for 5 classes! One class on each and one on the sequencing, and the cycle.

We learn relationship through our movement engagements as babies - these patterns are laid down into the physiology of the muscles and coordination of the spine and brain - even our prediction centers, i.e. our ability to plan and dream in the brain relies on these grooves. Let’s face it: we all have patterns that serve us and fail us in life.

Do you tend to work hard and push your way into solutions - but you are exhausted and not really making great progress? Do you dream and effortlessly reach beyond your current status - or do you hesitate or give up before you try? Do you feel confident in yourself as you negotiate change and as you engage with other people? Do you push people away? Do you fail to reach out? Do you have a hard time listening? Lets research!

Christine Cole now teaches SomaticBODY Trainings, 500 h trainings, but she used to teach in the BMC programs and is immersed in the BMC way of learning since 1983!
